However, I was able to find a period example of Pokerwork in the form of one of Ireland’s National Treasures, the Trinity College Harp. The utilitarian nature of the folkart also makes examples hard to find because once a piece lost it’s utilitarian value through normal use and damage it was discarded. Wood will turn to powder over the course of the years.
